Designing for Retirement

Since 2016 the Observatory Retirement Village has been a project close to our heart. From the inception of the Village we have been involved in the design and interior of the residential care home and surrounding facilities. 

We have been proud to watch this development grow and in 2024 we will be again working with the team at the Observatory to create a new Willow Park Community Lodge to service a growing village of more than 70 villas to the south-east of the site.

Our concept has always been about the North Otago environment and surrounds to bring a slice of our countryside into the Village to make residents feel warm and welcome.

Colour palettes have been taken directly from the Oamaru coastline, Waitaki Valley farmlands and North Otago high country which can be seen in throughout the Village in residents rooms, shared facilities, apartments, gym and activity rooms.

The Willow Park Community Lodge will take this one step further bringing a classic yet modern design concept that is multipurpose and encourages connectivity.
